How do I do Get Started?
I’m so glad you asked!
Co-parenting TherapY
Co-parenting therapy is all about keeping your child in the center, not the middle, of your separation. You can expect structured sessions that include agenda setting and prioritization, discussion and negotiation regarding concerns and areas that are causing conflict, and movement towards written agreements.
INVESTMENT:
$210/session, $105/person
Complex Family Systems Therapy (resist/refuse)
One of the greatest distresses to a family system is when a child begins to resist or reject contact with one parent. This is a very complicated family problem that needs a highly skilled therapist to guide towards a solution. Families experiencing problems with parent-child contact should expect a family system approach where everyone works towards the common goal of creating a safe and stable relationship between the child and both parents. I hold a deep belief that the parent-child relationship is one of the most sacred relationships that exists. Overcoming these barriers teaches everyone valuable lessons about boundaries, healing, and finding connection in pain. I also believe that safety must be present for any meaningful connection to occur.
INVESTMENT: $210/session
Individual Therapy
Many times people (adults and children) are directed to therapy by the Court. I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing a variety of problems, some of which are specific to families with a high-conflict separation. In sessions, I provide a judgement-free space for you to process painful experiences and assist in finding solutions to the problems creating the most distress. I also work with individuals interested in implementing the work of Dr. Brene Brown in their life.
Investment: $180 per session.
Please note: I am not available to work with children whose primary problem is experiencing distress in the family system (ex: exposure to high conflict coparenting or problems with a parent) UNLESS the family system is also in therapy (ex: family therapy or co-parenting counseling).
